What is 4tify?

Follow

This tutorial will cover Thinkzoom’s training reinforcement feature, 4tify. 4tify is a set of one-question exams delivered to users when they complete an exam to help aid learning retention.

The exam delivery times are spread out over the course of four months. Here are the time gaps of each email as well as what type of exam they will receive:

  • 2 days later: Exam question
  • 2 weeks later: Exam question
  • 2 months later: Exam question
  • 4 months later: Exam question + recap video

As an administrator, you can ensure your users have immediate access to all 4tify exams by enabling the 4tify widget on their main dashboard. If it isn’t there already, click on the gray widget in the upper right-hand corner of the dashboard and when the pop-up window appears, click on 4tify, then determine the size of the widget to add it to the dashboard.

While the first three 4tify exams are similar in design to any regular exam question they see after completing an exam, here is an example of the fourth and final 4tify exam a user will receive.

The recap videos are usually two minutes or less so that users can quickly digest and retain the course.

If you decide you do not want the 4tify feature for your users, go to Administration from the main menu and select Campus Settings. From the Account Details, scroll down and select Disable 4tify and hit Update Account to save your changes. This will completely remove 4tify from your Thinkzoom account.
