Using The Quad

The Quad is a social community inside your Thinkzoom campus and a virtual space for collaborative learning. It was created to encourage learners to connect with other learners for friendly competition, knowledge sharing and training reinforcement for a more engaging learning experience.

This tutorial will walk you through how to use The Quad.

To get to The Quad, select The Quad from the main menu and choose Dashboard from the drop-down menu.

You’ll be taken here:

The dashboard shows three sections: Leaderboard, Recommended, and Recent Activity.

• The Leaderboard section reflects the top users that you follow.
• The Recommended section suggests users for you to follow.
• The Recent Activity section shows the latest actions of users you follow, such as courses watched. If you’re interested in watching that course, you can jump to it by clicking the course title link.

Using The Quad Navigation

Want to follow another user? Click the Discover tab and you’ll find a number of users to follow by pressing the green + Follow button on their profile. You can also use the search field to find new people.

Click the Following tab to see which users you are following, or click Followers to show all of the users that are following you.

You can unfollow any of your followers or reject their follow request. For a deeper dive into a user’s history, click on their name and you’ll be directed to that user’s profile page.

Here you’ll be able to see a comparison of lifetime points this user has earned against your own in the bar at the top. You’ll also be able to see the user’s Achievements, unfollow them, or send them a direct message.
